About Jerry McSorley of Shorelands

Jerry McSorley brings a wealth of building trade and home inspection expertise to each home he inspects.  Prior to becoming a home inspector, Jerry was a partner in a North Carolina construction company, building and remodeling many homes.  Then, he worked for several years as an ASHI Inspector in the CT/NY area as a partner in another home inspection company.  In 2005, Jerry decided to "hang out his own shingle" and formed Shorelands Home Inspections, LLC. 

The Shorelands Home Inspection "Style"

First and foremost, Shorelands believes that every customer deserves a thorough, comprehensive, professional home inspection each time we ring the doorbell on a new inspection.

Besides meeting and beating professional standards on each inspection, we also like to educate the new home buyer on the exact condition of the home.  Jerry will explain all of the details on how everything in the home works, and if you should forget some of the details, you can call Jerry at any time you own your home for advice!
